Mikah is an Australian qualified lawyer working as an associate in the IP team, with a particular focus on brand and copyright disputes.

“I act for clients across a range of industries, primarily media, entertainment and fashion.

I assist clients with large, international brand portfolios manage complex disputes and enforcement issues across jurisdictions. I have particular experience in strategy for misuse of trade marks and copyright works across a number of jurisdictions, including China.

I also specialise in copyright and online rights protection. I advise clients on website blocking injunctions targeting copyright-infringing websites both in the UK and other jurisdictions.

I have experience in contentious matters before the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court and Court of Appeal, as well as in contested trade mark registry proceedings before the UKIPO and the EUIPO.

I am an Australian qualified lawyer. I practised at a leading IP and media firm in Sydney prior to joining Wiggin. I completed the Oxford University Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice in 2020, and I am a member of AIPPI and IPSoc.”
